A set of 6 vintage Art Deco period solid Sterling silver standard CONSOMME/BOUILLON SPOONS soup spoons, each fully and clearly hallmarked for Sheffield 1937 with Makers initials W&Co (S).
 
Each spoon has a total length of 5.25 in (133 mm) with bowls having a length of approximately 1.9 in (47 mm) with a maximum width of 1.5 in (38 mm).
 
They have a total weight of 135.8 grams and have elegant fan-shaped handles and detail to the finials, typical of the period.
 
All are in very good clean condition with no damage and come in their original satin/velvet lined presentation case with push-button release catch. It retains the Retailers label to the lid i.e. S.Greenough & Sons, Jewellers, Bolton.
 
We are selling the silver items and the case/box is extra.  Seeing the box often indicates that the item has been well protected over the years.
